One of the most essential elements to a thriving life is one's thriving health.
However, due to different circumstances, many, if not all, of the children are malnourished and/or sick upon entering our care. In order to foster physical healing and help our children achieve normal health, KWPI provides health and dental services.
We have an in-house nurse who readily extends immediate health care to the kids and teens in the residence. Our nurse also coordinates with pediatricians, specialists, therapists, dentists, and other health care professionals. She works closely with them in order to monitor and ensure the improvement of our children's health and nourishment.
Giving children this level of access to health care is a priority here at KWPI, and has proven to be a very effective entry point to the overall healing of the children who come to our care.
