Adopt

Adoption is the commitment to provide a permanent family to a child whose parents have voluntary or involuntary relinquished parental authority over the child.

In the Philippines, the process to adopt may look vastly different between Filipinos and foreigners. For those residing in and adopting from the Philippines, you may proceed with the domestic adoption process.

For those who are not in the Philippines but are interested to adopt a child from the country, a process called intercountry adoption is what may apply. This is also dependent on each country's context and restrictions. Generally, however, it would be the national government agency called Inter-Country Adoption Board that will accept and assess applications regarding this type of cases.
